Job Description

 

We are looking for a highly motivated & energetic Business Development Executive to join our growing team in helping us meet the explosive demand our company is experiencing. You will play a vital role in helping Afterskills enter its next phase of growth. You will report directly to the CEO’s office and manage our business development and sales efforts. Your key focus areas will be to manage the end-to-end sales pipeline, which includes (1) identifying leads through various channels, (2) qualifying each lead, (3) building relationships with prioritised prospects, (4) supporting deal negotiations and (5) managing post sales activities, such as customer success initiatives and workshop management logistics.


For the right candidate, this opportunity has the potential to become a full-time permanent role in the near future!


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage sales leads from various channels, respond to requests, follow-up with qualified leads while consistently growing the pipeline and keeping the top of the sales funnel fed
  • Own the lead assessment and qualification process for both inbound and outbound lead generation / prospecting
  • Collaborate with prospects / stakeholders in converting leads in to long-term Afterskills customers
  • Ensure that communication streams with new and existing prospects remain active and relevant
  • Manage LinkedIn sales campaigns including tracking and responding to relevant leads while also developing and leading new sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Stay up to date with the latest data and analytics trends across various industries and suggest improvements to our sales strategy and processes
  • Manage our CRM tool and keep it up to date with account details, follow-up dates, conversation summary, etc.
  • Support cross-stream activities including Marketing, Product, Delivery and Customer Success as and when needed

Preferred Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • Extremely comfortable with Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to develop good relationships with prospects and clients
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience with sales / client-facing interactions is a plus
  • Previous experience with any CRM platform is a plus
  • Previous experience in Education Management or EdTech is a plus
